Main star Water safety

This time for main star I made a water safety poster my ducks are here to help, ducky number 1 says always swim with a buddy never swim alone ducky number 2 says no your limits when you are in pools, lakes, rivers etc ducky number 3 says don't forget your life jacket if your boating ducky number 4 says always have an adult watching, if your listen to all of my ducky's you will be very safe in the water.

Main star homemade gift

This time for main star I had to make a homemade gift i decided to make candle holders, we used a honey jar and a sauce jar, green glitter, old book cover, glue and the candles. We had to use recycled materials and we defiantly did that. I made 2 candle holders (that where different styles) so that I could give them to two different people.
First we had to take the labels of the jars and then for the first one I did I stenciled snowflakes and stars onto the old book cover then I had to cut them out and put them on the jar and then that was the first one done, for the second one I stenciled stars and a Christmas tree that mum drew, and then cut them out and stuck them on then I put pva glue all over the jar and covered it with green glitter and then I had to let it dry before I could take the old book cover off so it had a stencil effect so when it dried I did that then lastly I had to melt the candle so I could put it in the jar I had to get help poring the melted candle in because it was really hot and then it had to set and then they where all done a now I can give them away to the people that I am going to give them to.

Literacy reflection term week 7

This week for literacy I had to do a Christmas tree and we had to get the song 12 days of Christmas and  write a NZ version.

Main star flotation device term 4

This term for main star I had to make a flotation device, and I decided to ask my dad to help me find some materials and we found 2 buckets from the garage and we also found some rope, I plated the rope so that it would be stronger and then I tied the rope to the handles of the buckets and then we did not need to cut it because they would pull me in from the rope and they would have heaps of rope because the hole role would be there if the needed any more rope.

The idea is that the buckets have tight lids on them so they hold air and float and then the rope is short so that it can go under your armpits and you can float because the buckets will be holding you up.

This time for main star I had to do a Christmas card and I did it for the teacher aid in my class witch is Ellie I thought that it would be really nice of me to appreciate the teaches in my class that's why I did not go and do my best friend I did Ellie because she is always a big help in our class so merry Christmas Ellie I hope you have a great day.
